Joel Roper—Account Manager

Joel has brought his many years of customer relations experience to the First Guaranty Financial team, and has successfully transitioned his top-notch customer service and sales skills into becoming a leading account manager with the company. Joel is a multi-million dollar producer for the firm and has greatly contributed to the company’s ongoing success. Joel is a Missouri native but has been enjoying the Arizona sunshine since 1997. When he is not assisting customers with their financial needs he appreciates the outdoors and likes to hike and camp as well as loves to snorkel or scuba dive whenever he gets the chance. Joel also enjoys spending time with family and friends or just relaxing with a good book to read.

Carole Miller—Office Administrator

Carole has been with First Guaranty Financial since May of 2007 and has over fifteen years of business management experience.  Her in-depth knowledge of business operations has been instrumental in the development and growth of the company. Prior to joining the First Guaranty Financial team, Carole was involved in real estate investment/management and the corporate housing industry. She has held positions as Designated Broker and Asset Manager for real estate investment firms and District Manager with an international corporate housing company. Carole holds a B.S. with honors in Business Administration from the W. P. Carey School of Business, Arizona State University.

Dennis Miller—Las Vegas Branch Owner

Denny has been involved in various aspects of the financial industry since 1983. After receiving his Bachelor’s degree in Business Management with minors in Accounting and Finance in 1980, Denny became a member of the Chicago Board of Trade. There he traded U.S. 30-Year Treasury Bonds in the largest, most actively traded financial “pit” in the history of

financial futures. He traded for himself for 14 years and then decided to move to Arizona for numerous reasons, one being the Chicago winters. Futures trading is extremely risky, whereas everything that Denny recommends to his clients now is guaranteed and insured, or “we just don’t offer it.”  Denny’s son graduated from Arizona State University, W.P. Carey School of Business and the Honors School Suma Cum Laude and is now an analyst for Geneva Trading in Chicago. His daughter, whom just graduated from the University of Arizona Suma Cum Laude as well, is enjoying life before returning to school to work on her masters degree.

Todd is certified by The National Association of Life Underwriters and is a member in good standing with the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors. Todd has been married for 28-years, and he and his wife moved to Arizona in 1985 where they have raised their 2 children.
